Last week Sloane Street in London saw the new look of the seductive La Perla – as well as femme fatales galore – Cara Delevingne inclusive.
The hall of seduction became the spotlight of the street in that evening – when La Perla at Sloane Street unveiled its new image designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, the mastermind behind some of the most iconic Prada and Miu Miu stores. Soon enough it became obvious that the opening party evolved into an intimate gathering among some of the most stylish figures in the likes of models Ashley James and Katie Readman, ‘queen of vintage’ Virginia Bates, model/actress Tolula Adeyemi, and – last but not least – the La Perla ambassador Cara Delevingne.
The different characters of these ladies symbolise the allure of this new store image inspired by the work of Carlo Scarpa from the Castelvecchio Museum in Verona. The gateway into the fitting room is a symbol of intimacy, whilst the metal grate that recalls ancient confessionals and the ‘service bell’ are some of the other surprises. This new image will feature in the main La Perla boutiques in Milan, Macau, Hong Kong, New York and Paris by Spring 2014.
