Jena.Theo A/W presentation was held in a little white space inside Somerset House, crammed with journalists and photographers and busy with PRs and buyers. Luckily, her vivid collection made up for the lack of space, brightening up the whole room (and the crowd’s mood).
The models, with a 90s inspired style (a sassy smiley face towered over the catwalk, as well as being printed on the invite) and bold attitudes, appeared on the catwalk in groups, resembling cool gangs of young girls with a crush on bright colours and strong lipsticks. The mix of shocking pink, gold, black and white and the floral prints suggested a clear break from the same old dark-coloured palette that is so often associated with the winter season.
All in all, the collection showed a certain appeal for young consumers and a strong hope in a colourful winter.
